DSSSB invites applications for the posts of Laboratory, Scientific and Senior Scientific Assistant in the field of Lie Detection under the Forensic Science Laboratory.

ELIGIBILITY:

For Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology from a recognized University. Desirable is Master’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology from a recognized University.

For Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in Psychology/ Criminology from a recognized University or equivalent.

For Senior Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology from a recognized university or equivalent. Desirable is Doctorate Degree in concerned discipline from a recognized university or equivalent and two years research/ analytical experience therein in applied Psychology or Criminology/Crime Investigation.

AGE LIMIT: 27 Years for Laboratory, Scientific Assistant & 30 Years for Senior Scientific Assistant (for reserved category, relaxation will be as per the norms mentioned with the advertisement)

PAY SCALE:

For Laboratory Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2400/- Group: ‘C’

For Scientific Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2800/- Group: ‘C’

For Senior Scientific Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4200/- Group: ‘B’

SELECTION PROCEDURE:  Based on the One Tier Examination.
