In All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal, there are vacancies in the DST-funded research project titled, “Neurohaemodynamic Correlates of Efficacy of Yoga and Meditation in Improving Cognitive Functions, Drinking Related Outcomes and Psychological Well-being in Alcohol Dependence Syndrome” in the department of psychiatry. AIIMS has mentioned the needful information like eligibility criteria, qualification needed for the post, important dates of application, years of experience required for the particular post, and salary of 47000+16% HRA is specified, in order to recruit employee/candidate fit for the responsibilities of the different posts which are vacant currently. Eligibility:
Name of the Post: Research Officer (RO) (Non–Medical). The required qualification for this post is, MA/MSc in Psychology or Clinical Psychology, regular mode obtained from a University or Institution recognized by the UGC. With M. Phil. in Clinical Psychology or M. Phil. In Medical & Social Psychology obtained from a University or Institution recognized by the RCI. With One year of Clinical/Research/Teaching experience from a recognized Institution. With One research publication in the UGC index journal Desirable: Having command in research, report writing, and Sound Knowledge in neuropsychological assessment. Candidates up to 45 years can apply for this post.

AIIMS Bhopal provides various research prospects which broadly include Infectious diseases, Maternal health and child nutrition, Molecular cancer research, Viral identification and diagnosis, Neurosciences and Psychiatry, Genetic predisposition to non-communicable diseases, health care policies, toxicology, strategies for surgical interventions and stem cell biology. The themes are not mutually exclusive and the PIs carry interdisciplinary research with national and international collaborations aiming towards novel, low-cost tools for becoming the torch bearer of health care for the state of Madhya Pradesh where malnutrition, maternal mortality, and hemophilia are prevalent.
