Vishal K. Chavda is a dedicated and emerging neuroscientist currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology, supported by the prestigious CSIR-SRF Fellowship awarded by the Government of India. He studied Anesthesia at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, and the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, with additional specialization in Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology and a professional member of the AHA, ASA, and FCINP. With over eight years of research experience, Dr. Chavda has received more than 12 international awards and travel grants, including the IBRO-YITP Award, AOAN-WCN-2019 Travel Grant, and the First Poster Prize from the Malaysian Stroke Council. His research focuses on stroke, brain tumors, ischemic brain damage, cognition, and neurodegeneration. He has authored over 55 peer-reviewed international publications and serves as an editor or guest editor for prestigious journals such as *BMC Neurology*, *Frontiers in Surgery (Neurosurgery)*, and *Brain Sciences (MDPI)*. He is also the editor of two upcoming books and the author of three book chapters. In 2023, he was honored with the "Asia’s Distinguished Scientist Award" by ASTRA, which he dedicates to the Almighty, his parents, beloved wife, and sister.
