Vacancy for senior & Junior Research Fellow: NIMHANS

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is going to organize Walk in cum written test for the post of “Senior Research Fellow (Clinical Psychology) as well as “Junior Research Fellow” (speech pathology & audiology). These posts are for the project titled “Machine learning algorithms trained on voice to predict psychological distress and postpartum depression”.

Venue for the test: Leturer Hall, 1st Floor, Old Admin Block, NIMHANS, Bengaluru-29.

About the posts:

1. Name of the post: Senior Research Fellow (Clinical Psychology).

• Available vacancy: 01
• Eligibility criteria: M.Phil (clinical psychology)
• Desirable qualifications: work experience of one work

Other considerations:

• Language proficiency: with English, hindi the ability to speak Kannada, tamil or telugu
• Travelling within Bengaluru
• May need working on some holidays/Sundays

Maximum age limit: 35 years

Salary: 35,000 INR + 27% HRA per month.

Duration for the project: one year extendable till the completion of the project. And the project will end on March 31, 2024.

2. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow (speech pathology & audiology).

• Available vacancy: 01
• Eligibility criteria: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
• Or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent degree with at least 60 percent aggregate marks.
• Desirable qualifications: work experience of working in the area of assessment of voice disorders.

Other considerations:

• Language proficiency: with English, hindi the ability to speak Kannada, tamil or telugu
• Travelling within Bengaluru
• May need working on some holidays/Sundays
• Maximum age limit: 30 years
• Salary: 31,000 INR + 27% HRA per month.
• Duration for the project: one year extendable till the completion of the project. And the project will end on March 31, 2024.
