Dr. Sandhya Rani is an organizational psychologist. She has done her M Sc and M Phil in psychology and has a PhD in psychology from the University of Madras. Her thesis titled 'Influence of Psycho-social and environmental factors on cognitive functions among seafarers' is an intensive study on seafarers and their work environment. She is at present the co-founder and managing partner of Element H Psychological Support Services, where she practices counselling and psychometry. She has over 14 years of experience in counselling and training people belonging to all age groups. Her areas of specialization are Human Element Analysis, especially in the Shipping industry. She is trained in Occupational Testing from Psyasia Singapore, Leadership evaluation from Maersk Training, Wellness at Sea by Sailors Society, ACT therapy by Urmila Pillay UK, CBT Therapy by Joseph Mathew from Australia and Adlerian schools of thought by trainers from the USA. She is a member of psychological bodies such as BPS, APA, IAAP, InSPA, and CCF. She specializes in the field of seafarers and their mental health.
