About the Institution
The Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) located at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is the world’s only university providing courses in Forensic and Allied Sciences. It was established in 2008 with an aim to cater to the high demand for forensic experts across the globe. The University is recognized by UGS as a State University under Section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. GFSU has three academic departments, namely Institute of Forensic Science (IFS), Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS), and Institute of Research and Development (IRD).
Admission for M.Sc Clinical Psychology and M.Phil Clinical Psychology
M.Sc Clinical Psychology and M.Phil Clinical Psychology are provided in GFSU under the Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS). Admissions are open for both M.Sc Clinical Psychology and M.Phil Clinical Psychology for the academic year 2020-2021. The application date extends from 18th June 2020 to 15th August 2020. Interested candidates can send their application through online mode by attaching the required documents along with prescribed application fees. If you have scored above 55% (UR) or 50% (SC/ST) in BA or B.Sc Psychology, you are eligible to apply for M.Sc Clinical Psychology. If you have scored 55% (UR) or 50% (SC/ST) in MA or M.Sc Psychology, you are eligible to apply for M.Phil Clinical Psychology. Intake will be 62 for M.Sc Psychology and 13 for M.Phil Clinical Psychology. Selection for M.Sc Clinical Psychology will be based on entrance examination while selection for M.Phil Clinical Psychology will be based on entrance examination as well as your performance in a personal interview. Tuition fees are Rs 30,000 per semester for M.Sc Clinical Psychology and Rs 1, 00,000 per year for M.Phil Clinical Psychology, along with other university fees.
