Hello! I am currently in the final year of Masters in Applied Psychology from University of Calcutta, my specialization being Stress management and Counselling psychology. I have completed my graduation from University of Calcutta as well. Mental health in India is still subject to stigma and shame. Awareness and education about mental health is the only way to help fight the stigma around mental health and normalise it so that people are not shamed for being who they are or for the problems they are suffering. My aim is to help spread that awareness through my work and through my writings so that conversations around mental health are normalised and mental health is considered as important and essential as physical health.
