Shikha Vasishta is a Doctoral Research Scholar in Political Science at Bennett University, India, and an alumna of the University of Delhi. Her research interrogates reproductive rights through the lenses of feminist legal theory, critical human rights discourse, and postcolonial political thought. With a focus on the Global South, her work examines the governance of reproductive autonomy at the intersection of law, culture, biopolitics, and technology. She has authored over fourteen peer-reviewed publications and presented at prestigious academic forums including SOAS–University of London, Keio University, and the University of Hawai‘i. Her scholarship advances an interdisciplinary, justice-oriented framework that seeks to bridge theory and praxis, centering the lived experiences of structurally marginalised communities.
