The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is a multidisciplinary research and therapy institution. It is the top educational facility in the country for neuroscience and mental health. NIMHANS was designated as an “Institute of National Importance” in 2012.
NIMHANS is holding a walk-in-interview to fill several contract positions in the ICMR-funded project “Pathways to Resilience and Mental Health (PARAM)” directed by Dr. Vivek Benegal, Professor of Psychiatry and Principal Investigator at NIMHANS.
Application for the Post of Project Psychologist:

Qualification: Master’s degree in Psychology/Social Work
Desirable:

Age Limit: 35 years
Salary Structure: Rs. 32,000/- per month (with yearly increments)
Duration: 6 months (Performance-based extensions till 3 yrs.)

- Conducting participant recruiting and evaluations for the study.
- Data management and documentation.

OR
- Second-Class Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Social Work with 4 years of experience.

Age Limit: 40 years
Salary Structure: Rs. 51,000/- + 30% HRA per month (with yearly increments)
Duration: 6 months (Performance-based extensions till 3 yrs.)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating every aspect of the project.
- Multi-centric liaisoning.
- Project staff training.
- Project staff supervision during hiring and evaluations.
- Documentation and data management.
- Maintain standards of excellence and participate actively in data analysis and research that results in publications in scientific journals.
