Sports Authority of India (SAI) with its Head Quarters at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, is India’s premier national sports authority, established by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of India in 1982. It is operational with its 47 National Centres of Excellence (NCOE) across the country for the development and promotion of Games and Sports in India and these centres receive funding under Khelo India Scheme.
The SAI Operation Division oversees the execution of several sports promotion initiatives designed to identify and develop outstanding athletes across a range of age groups in order to achieve greatness at the national and international levels.
SAI has opened up 47 vacancies for the posts of Strength & Conditioning Experts, Physiologists, Psychologists, Biomechanics, & Biochemists under an umbrella term, “High-Performance Analyst” on a probational basis for one year which is extendable up to a maximum of 8 years. Out of these 47 posts, 37 are reserved for OBC(15), SC (14), ST (8) and EWS (10). The consolidated pay offered for a month is ₹1,05,000 with an annual increment of up to 10% based on performance assessment. Selected candidates will be posted in any of the SAI centres across India and the posting so made is purely in the public interest.
Eligibility Criteria: The upper age limit is 45 years as of the closing date for submission of online applications. Relaxation of age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman shall be as per Department of Personnel and Training norms.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience: The qualification for the psychologist is Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/or equivalent from any recognized University/ Institution. The essential experience required for this post is 5 years of experience in the field of Psychology or 3 years of experience with a Masters’s in the field of Psychology or a Ph. D in the field of Psychology.
