October 10th, it’s a day to spread awareness of mental health issues and problems and make efforts to give and get support for mental health. It's also known as World Mental Health Day. It is possible that our efforts to protect and advance mental health in the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in a mental health crisis, with full short and long-term stress and a more than 25% increase in both anxiety and depression disorders during the first year of the pandemic, while service supply was far below or low in middle-income countries.

This year, WHO, making mental health and well-being a global priority, is a topic of the campaign and a slogan also launched by WHO in collaboration.

To spread awareness and knowledge, social media and cinema are the best options or choices. There are some films or cinemas which narrate stories of mental health issues, problems facing people with mental illness, and so on. Actresses ranging from Alia Bhatt to Ranbir Kapoor have all played a role in moving people's hearts with such a sensitive subject as mental health.

Akash ( actor Ranbir Kapoor) suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after becoming bankrupt, and Kiara (actress Priyanka Chopra) is saddened after becoming cheated by her fiancé.

The purpose of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health problems and issues around the world and to encourage efforts in support of mental health, illness, and problems. There is an opportunity for psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, including employers and employees, government agencies, and so on, to work on mental health issues, and more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide or ensure mental health and wellbeing become a worldwide priority for all.
